Push the Tempo

I shall start this blog by telling you what it's about. I travel a long distance to and from work everyday, and the journey can be quite dull. Work can be quite dull, too, but more on that later. Looking out through the car window – with headphones on – is like watching a real life music video every morning and evening. Everything and everyone seems to know what track I'm listening to, and acts accordingly. Sort of like the music video to Push the Tempo by Fatboy Slim.
So it's one-track-a-day (it may be one track a month/week/fortnight too) accompanied by a photo(s). We'll see how the blog evolves, or meets its end (as did the last one). Since it's my blog, and i can do what I please here, sometimes, when I feel like it, I'll post stuff completely unrelated. And since I already started taking photographs a while ago, we'll go back in time for a bit, until we catch up.

Did I fail to mention that most of my photos will have gone through an Instagram filter. All photos taken on my iPhone unless specified otherwise. There's loads before this, so I may not go chronologically, but this first photo was taken on New Year's Day, 2012. I spent a beautiful day with Neel, at the American Diner, tossed a frisbee around at Lodhi Garden, went on a horse buggy ride around Lodi road, it was beautiful. This one is through an auto, which I count as a car window. The track I distinctly remember playing in my head this day was She Just Likes to Fight by Four Tet. Deceptive as the track may sound, it's light and cheerful and lifts your spirits with its tinkly, sparkly sounds. Perfect day.
